How to Make a Martini
This is how to make a martini with vodka, it is often a good idea to chill first all your ingredients and utensils. This will include the gin, vermouth, garnish, cocktail shaker, mixing bowl, and martini glass. Leave them on the fridge for about an hour before preparing your martini drink.
After an hour has passed, take the cocktail shaker and vermouth out of the fridge. Get some ice and place it inside the shaker. Pour your two parts vermouth inside the shaker and whirl the content until the vermouth takes the temperature of the ice. Once done, strain the contents into a mixing bowl.
Once the vermouth has been strained, take the gin out of the fridge and pour twelve parts into the cocktail shaker. Place the cap of the shaker and then vigorously swirl its content. This will make the gin take the temperature of the ice but not dilute it. Once done, strain the contents into the mixing bowl where you placed the vermouth.
After placing the gin into the mixing bowl, mix both the vermouth and gin together. Now take out two or three martini glasses. Divide the contents of the mixing bowl between your martini glasses. Add some garnish like olive, lemon twist, or lemon peel into the drink. Serve and enjoy.
